LAW ENFORCEMENT

R.E.A.C.T. Defense Systems® (R.D.S.®) has been part of the Valley’s history for the past 20 years and in that time, they have trained the highest level of military and law enforcement.
With over 30 years of martial arts and fitness experience, Chief Instructor, Jay Ackerman, is the founder of Tactical Black® and solely responsible for bringing Tactical Black® Krav Maga to Phoenix, AZ. Jay has continued to evolve the training based on the needs of today’s soldier and has developed a well rounded system in advanced self-defense. The program emphasizes hand-to-hand combat, weapon defenses, weapon retention that has been battle tested and proven.

A trained individual will react better and make appropriate decisions when confronted with a possible threat than a non-trained person would. If you currently hold a commission card and badge, this training saves lives. For more information, call our center at 602.485.5728.

Jay and staff,

I will never forget walking into the training center on Greenway Road, fourteen or so years ago, not knowing anything about Krav Maga. I was assigned to the most violent neighborhoods in the city, being Maryvale and South Mountain Precinct, and relying on perceived strength, youth and good luck to survive each shift. What I have learned in the time I have trained with you is insurmountable and I want to thank you and your staff for getting me to this point in my life, mentally and physically prepared for any encounter. There is no way I can even express my gratitude to your efforts in the continued training of law enforcement personnel. You guys will always be special to me and I look forward to a continued relationship.

Thank you, E. R.
